Woodwinds and Dinosaurs…..

There was a lot of excitement last Friday when the new Junior Infants made their first trip to the hall to listen to the Woodwind Ensemble who came to play for us! The children learnt how the instruments worked and heard stories about the origins of instruments and tunes. The Ensemble commented on how wonderful the children were and what a great audience they made!

On Tuesday, we had our first trip back to the garden this school year. Children from the Junior classes made Dinosaur pesto from the Dinosaur Kale which has been growing in our garden over the summer. It was delicious!! The children got to enjoy it on some crackers. The staff even got to enjoy some with their lunch! Lucky us! Yum Yum!!!

FriYAY!! Fun Friday! Forest Friday! Foraging Friday! Fantastic Friday!

From learning in the forest and foraging for berries in our own yard to buddy time and mix it up yard time….. It’s all happening at DSP!

Thanks to all our amazing staff and volunteers who make it all happen! You’re amazing!!
