From artwork and wellbeing discussions & plans to our gardening and sustainability initiatives. There was a lot of love, support and care on show.

In a week when the Dept/NCSE yet again failed to provide assurances, our children felt the support and love of the whole school community who came together for their wellbeing, dignity and care.

The many discussions in homes this week about the role of the ANA in our children’s lives highlighted the love of the ANAs for the children in our schools. From cleaning up puke to helping them when they are worried, our ANAs consistently help our children to feel loved and supported.

As a result of our community efforts, our amazing Additional Needs Assistants also felt big love this week. They would like the school community, both children and adults, to know how much they appreciate the wonderful acknowledgment of their love, care and work.

More love was shown in the community when teachers and parents came together at Parent Teacher Meetings to discuss the progress of each child and how best we can work together to further support them on their journey through DSP. Yay for communicating the DSP way! With compassion and empathy holding our children at the heart of discussions.

Bulb Sale and Coffe Morning on Tuesday 18th February.

It doesn’t have to be Valentine’s Day to give flowers and show love!

Brighten up these grey days with some beautiful bright blooms!! Our fantastic gardeners have been very busy this week planning for Tuesday’s Bulb sale! Gorgeous daffodils, tulips and hyacinths planted by the Garden Club will be available for sale at very reasonable prices! Why not also enjoy a cuppa and chats at the Coffee Morning hosted by the Garden Club. Money raised will return to the Garden Club so that they can continue to show love to our sustainability and environmental goals.
