3rd Class Engineering Activities

Engineering week 2023 took place from the 6th-10th of March 2023

Third Class were lucky enough to have a visit from the transportation engineer, Stavroula Manta. We discussed the different types of engineers there are and their roles. It is important for engineers to be creative, positive, be good communicators and most importantly- be co-operative! We then had a challenge to design a bridge using paper and masking tape. 

We also had another engineering challenge where we had to build the tallest towers using spaghetti and marshmallows. It was challenging trying to get the spaghetti to stand up so everyone was very creative at trying out new ways to build.
