A meeting of DSPNS Board of Management (BOM) was held on Monday 29th April 2024 via Zoom.
Items on the agenda included the Principal’s Report, Treasurer’s Report, Voluntary Contributions (VCs), Communications, and Maintenance report. Specific items included:
- The Board of Management (BoM) recognises the PTA is instrumental in enhancing school social engagement and fundraising efforts. The BoM thanks organisers of the Spring Market for a very successful gathering with many stalls run by students.
- The BoM ratified two policies: Critical Incident and Complaints Procedures.
- The BoM thanks everyone who has donated voluntary contributions of €29,215.00 to date.
- The BoM was informed of the retirement of Joan Carroll, additional needs assistant, and Margaret Daly, additional needs teacher at the end of this school year. The BoM thanks them for their valuable contributions to school life during their years of service at DSP.
- The BoM agreed to contact local representatives regarding the lack of response to our Additional Accommodation Project.
- The Board invites the school community to attend events connected to DSP life – dates for the diary:
