Fifth and Sixth Class had great fun with their Junior and Senior Infant buddies today, celebrating harvest time and making apple juice. They learned all about the life cycle of an apple and the importance of pollinators. It was wonderful to see the children working together, mulching and pressing the apples to make delicious juice. Thank-you to Katie and Gavin for organising our apple press and for sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm with the children.
