Sixth Class enjoyed a trip to Sky studios on Friday as part of the Sky Up academy programme. They learned all about the various roles both on and off-screen which make up a TV production team. They got to try their hand at scriptwriting, producing, directing, camera operation, editing and presenting. With only a short amount of time in the studio, we were so impressed with how quickly they made decisions and adapted to the challenges they faced.  They showed impressive team work and incredible creativity as they worked together to produce their own Sky News report. They gained an appreciated for all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes and the pressures faced by those on-screen. We hope all the children enjoyed the day and perhaps they might be inspired by this experience in their future career decisions.
