We are very appreciative of how well the girls and boys represented DSP in a 5-a side blitz.

The girls’ team drew on their GAA skills to come second. We were really impressed how they transferred skills learned in GAA to the soccer game. Well done!

The boys team have had more soccer training, having participated in this competition last year also. They qualified for the next round. Mr Mannion was delighted with all players’ soccer and team skills and for cooperative and kind behaviour.

Thanks to Mr Mannion for leading the teams and to all the teachers who changed their timetables to cover classes and release Mr Mannion for two school days. Thanks to parents for lifts and enthusiastic support!
