2nd class were learning all about wood mice. What do they look like? Would wood mice live on Killiney Hill? What would they eat? Where would be cosy to make their nests? Are there pathways near our base where they forage? Where they would find dried grass for their nest? We found evidence of what they might eat and we found a few possible places where they might live. And we made little wood mice with clay and natural found objects making sure they had a long tail!
